Our Calgary, Alberta location is seeking a Technical Sales & Marketing Associate to join our team, a self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, to grow sales, provide customer service and ensure timely fulfillment. This is a perfect role for someone who has strong marketing and communication skills, technical aptitude and a flair for on-the-ground sales.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Customer Engagement (Primary Focus – ~65-75%)
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Learn and support preventive maintenance sales by recommending lubrication solutions tailored to customer needs (training provided).
- Ensure timely customer service by providing on-the-ground assistance to logistics in the warehouse-a great way to get to know PowerSUM products.

Marketing Ownership & Execution (Secondary Focus – ~25-35%)
- Own and execute AwSUM’s marketing activities, including planning and posting content across social media platforms.
- Create, schedule, and manage social media posts aligned with promotions, product education, distributor activities, and brand messaging.
- Prepare and maintain marketing content such as sales flyers, product highlights, technical summaries, and distributor communications.

About you…
- University/Technical education desirable but not essential- marketing, technical (mechanical) or sales (business) focus.
- Customer service skills demonstrated by empathy, energy and common sense.
- Strong interest and experience in marketing, social media, and communications.
- Technical sales problem-solving experience (~1-2+ years desirable).
- Exceptional written and verbal English skills required.

Pay: $40,000-$90,000 per annum base, plus commission & incentive
